The Hulk is a fictional superhero appearing in publications of Marvel Comics. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, he first appeared in The Incredible Hulk #1. Since then, he has become one of the most recognizable characters.
The Hulk is the protagonist of a television series with spin-off films starring Bruce Banner as Bill Bixby and Hulk as Louis Ferrigno, 1982, 1996 and 2013 animated series and two films, the first in 2003 starring Bruce Banner as Eric Bana, and in the June 2008 release In the reboot, he was played by Edward Norton. Since 2012, the Hulk has been portrayed by Mark Ruffalo in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
