Rambo: First Blood is a US-made film based on the novel of the same name by David Morrell. The first film in which John Rambo appears is a veteran of the Vietnam War. The film was shot in October-December 1981. Premiere in America on October 22, 1982, in the USSR - in 1983 with a Soviet one-voiced translation by Yuri Yakovlev at the Mosfilm tone studio.
