AG was born and raised in Queensland, Australia. At the age of twenty, she began to experiment with the camera, developing her own style of visual impact on the viewer. AG first captured the imagination and hearts of the people eleven years ago. Her distinctive, individual photographs of babies, first released in New Zealand and Australia, are now recognized as classic baby images. In 1998, at the World Council of Professional Photographers, AG was awarded a special honorary award for her contribution to the art of photography. AG is a life member of the Professional Photographers of America. She became the first female photographer to be accepted into the fellowship of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photographers.
